Free transport to the elephant transit home is provided. The place Is lively, the food (we had both breakfast and dinner here) was very good and they organised a perfect 4 hour safari for us. The owner and his son are super friendly, helpful and fun, the nicest we have met on our trip in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended:)

We couldn’t recommend it more, this is the best stay we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka and the most affordable too. The cabins are super clean, spacious, amazing AC, aesthetically designed. Sandeep himself is a gem, he helped us organize two taxis and our Udawalawe safari which was private and we saw 30+ elephants! The food is also lovely and Sandeep was kind enough to make me gluten free food.

The hotel is perfect and the owners are very genourous and welcomed us with fresh coconuts and cold drinks. They were quick on seling us a safari tour but we were there for that. Moreover the trip was very worth it, the guide/driver was super konwledgeble and patient. If you have some time and money to spare I recomend the 6 hours trip. Even in the middle of the day you will be able to see animals, maybe even elephant bathing to refresh from the heat. And you wont be in a rush as there will be plenty of time to enjoy your encounters. The trip comes with too delicious meals that you will enjoy at the hotel. I defenetly recommand this place everything is perfect and the rates are faire.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. The owner was kind and personable. Very hospitable and lovely room with big, comfortable bed . The bathroom was big and the hot water was consistent . Absolutely fantastic. Thumbs up !

Located 17 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The couple that owns it are so lovely, they picked us up from the bus station and made us feel completely at home the whole time. The location is also perfect and the safari was fantastic, we would definitely stay again.

Boasting a spa and wellness centre and views of garden, Hasthi Safari Cottage is a recently renovated guest house set in Udawalawe, 16 km from Udawalawe National Park. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation offers a sauna, hot tub, family-friendly restaurant and free WiFi. Dasoon is the best. He took care of my family as if we were his family. He arranged a great safari and coordinated taxis and logisics. The food we ate there was the best we had in Sri Lanka.
