Free transport to the elephant transit home is provided. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff were friendly. The swimming pool was clean and big. The breakfast was ok, the dinner was a buffet of traditional Sri Lankan food. We booked a safari tour through the hotel itself - it was a great experience overall.

The owner greeted us with a welcome drink and even organised milk for our baby late at night when we arrived. It looks amazing in the pictures and even better in real! Best accommodation we had during our trip in Sri Lanka! This place deserves the best rating ever!

After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

I hope I can visit again

I would stay longer in this magical place if I could. Feels like in the jungle although is not far away from main street. Cottages are beautiful and comfy, Eco shower is a blast : )
