Very clean and spacious. The staff was very kind, and even gave us a delicious welcome drink. Good value for money and not too far from Yala for the safaris. Nice AC and hot water. Serene surroundings.

Guests can eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and high tea. The entire family that run this place are about the nicest people you will ever meet. They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. It's one of the great location unique landscape and friendly staff I appreciate this beautiful Villa for multiple times one of My Favourite in Kataragama

She gave us tea on arrival and bananas from her own garden which tasted amazing. Immaculatley clean room and bathroom. Organised our safari ar Yala National Park before arrival. Great value for money. Would highy recommend.

At the guest house, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Priya’s property at Tissa was amazing. Comfort, cleanliness, nature, proximity to the nearby lake. Everything was perfect. Priya is a very educated host and a nature lover. He took us to the lake for birdwatching. He explained us everything about the animal species living there. He even took us to Tissa with his own Tuk Tuk to a cafe we had spotted. We were lucky to enjoy a full moon night from the balcony. We went on an early morning safari the next day and he had prepared take away breakfast for us. He also arranged our laundry. To sum up he did everything to make this experience magical. Our accommodation had the unique character of a local home. It was like it was personalised. Thank you Priya! Looking forward to coming again!

The family was incredibly warm and welcoming – a lovely couple, with a kind (I think) German lady and her friendly local husband. The property is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful garden setting. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The homemade food was absolutely delicious and made with so much love. They even helped us organize a safari tour and thoughtfully packed a picnic breakfast for us to take along, which was such a sweet touch. Highly recommend staying here for a cozy, homely experience in nature.
