After being away for 17 years, I decided to treat myself to a weekend back home, and this spot in La Gaulette was absolutely perfect. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon and Le Morne is simply breathtaking I spent hours just admiring the scenery. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly located if you want to explore the south or simply relax. I’ll definitely be coming back this stay reminded me why I missed Mauritius so much.

Our stay at the Maison was super! It had everything we wanted! We came to explore Mauritius and it was a perfect base from which we travelled to almost everywhere on this stunning paradise within 1 hour! The room was large, the view (indescribably beautiful the whole day and night with the most awesome sunsets), breakfasts on the terrace were enjoyable and not monotonous. Our hosts were kind and helpful. My wife wanted to buy some dragon fruit and we enquired where we can purchase it, next day Karine pitched up with a bag full on the house! For a guest house our room and balcony was really private, quiet and we seldomly noticed that there were other people around even when the parking lot was full and the rooms fully booked. The place has the perfect holiday vibe and if you so wished to; you could enjoy conversation and laughs anytime next to the wonderful pool with the hosts and other guests! Our room was perfectly cleaned every day with fresh linen regularly . (Thank you, Shandrina and Nat for your awesome service and friendliness, you were very much appreciated!) We snorkeled in the lagoon and although it is rather shallow we still saw some cute fish, some coral and a lot of sea urchins about 100m+ from the beach. The new Albion Mall with the Dodo Supermarket was a surprise as it stocked almost everything one would need for a stay. All in all: You did great! Well done Jerome and Karine! Thank You!!! We had a wonderful time and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Matthieu is very kind, attentive and prompt.

Offering a garden and pool view, Fullmoon Apartment & Studio is situated in La Gaulette, 5.7 km from Paradis Golf Club and 20 km from Tamarina Golf Course. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony and a swimming pool. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We stayed in the upper corner apartment which has stunning views of Le Morne and the coast. The apartment has a big comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and is light and bright. The large terrace is superb and the rooftop barbecue terrace is wonderful too. The pool and pool area is spotless as is the rest of the property. The nearest beach is a ten minute drive but boat trips to the island with its beach can be organised from the end of the road. All in all perfect. We'd love to come back. All units comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Units are equipped with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace and some have sea views. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. This place is exceptional with breathtaking surroundings and views that exceeded our expectations. Owners and staff were incredibly attentive, providing us with plenty of useful tips to enhance our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pristine getaway in a untouched nature with top notch hospitality!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Shanti Ghar Guest House is a recently renovated guest house set in Tamarin, 1.8 km from Tamarin Beach. This property offers access to a balcony, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Set within 500 metres of Flic en Flac Beach and 8.4 km of Tamarina Golf Course in Flic-en-Flac, Son House Studio offers accommodation with seating area. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. The owners of the B&B were simply amazing. Kind, gentle & helpful :-) The location is perfect for peace & quiet.... away from the hustle and bustle of the "touristy" Flic en Flac area. It was a cool & calm place to rest & recuperate. Everything one needs for a comfortable stay is provided - a full kitchen & a lovely cool patio by the inviting swimming pool (I had the bottom unit for my 8 day stay). The walk to the beach is quick, safe & easy & the delicious boulangerie is just around the corner for fresh croissants & delicious coconut cake. Everything one needs is within a short walk from the house - restaurants, home-made gelato, the "shoppie" (where the helpful owner advised on the purchase of my data for my stay) right next to the bus stop (to Quatre Bourne & Port Louis & Cascavelle Shopping Centre). Just a tip....rather shop at Winners in Cascavelle SC, because the supermarket in Flic en Flac is very expensive & very busy with long queues & understaffed at the tills!
