Situated within 600 metres of Mazunte Beach and 1.2 km of Punta Cometa in Mazunte, Casa de Kai Mazunte features accommodation with seating area. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a patio. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. The owner is a really sweet lady who always made sure we're happy and asked if we need any cleaning. The room is simple but clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed having a table by the window for work and a fridge with some welcome beers and a bottle of water. There is a basket with first aid, knife and some other essentials in the room whish is a lovely detail. Even though there's just a fan we were okay because the windows with mosquito nets assure good circulation. The wi-fi was good enough for work. It is true that the shower is just a pipe without a shower head but I actually prefer that to weak pressure showers in many other places. Bonus: extremely friendly cat 😁 Perfect location close to the beach as well as the colectivos on the main road. Plenty of great food spots nearby. We would definitely come back!

At the guest house, all units include bed linen and towels. This is a quiet little oasis in PE. A couple of new build rooms with a courtyard garden with tables and hammocks. All immaculately kept, and the room was cleaned every day. Powerful hot shower. And the kitchen and dining area were more than adequate. Magnolia is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. Good value for money. Great location, 15 mins walking distance to two good cove beaches and others not much further.

I usually avoid dormitories, but this one was so lovely and clean that I was very happy. There is air-con, but the weather was quite cool so I didn't need to use it as the ceiling fan was fine. The swimming pool is a lovely addition, and the open kitchen is a great place to chat to others. I also found the location to be excellent if travelling by bus as it is a two minute walk, while the beach is about ten minutes if you can find the shortcut!
