This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

What's more, Chua is such a great host that he will share breakfast with you and always make something special. It may be a small thing, but especially if you are a solo traveller, you can appreciate it. These things make you feel like home and are a proof, that good people are everywhere around the world, no matter where you are.

Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay.
