Very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Lots of little extras that are much appreciated. We stayed for three nights and it was the perfect setting to wind down after a busy year. We stayed in cabin 1 which had a stunning water view and outdoor bath. Magic! We loved the little bay for swimming and the spa pool yo warm up in afterwards.

The facility, a working farm with olive trees, grapevines, chickens, Guinea hens, and assorted other farm animals, is comfortable & spacious. The surrounding land has fabulous gardens of perennial flowers, herbs and fruit trees. Fresh cut flowers from the gardens grace many tables. The hosts provided an overly generous assortment of food and goodies, including a lovely bottle of local wine. The eggs were provided by the hens. The house is well appointed, with all you need to prepare a meal. There is also a bbq available. You have a washing machine at your disposal. There are heaters & a fireplace for chilly evenings. This is a wonderful place to use as a base as exploring Marlborough wine country. It exceeded all of our expectations!

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite.
