📍 Located just 50 meters from the docks and a 17-minute walk to El Istmito Beach, Hostal Hansi offers the perfect base to explore the vibrant island life of Isla Colón. The place is close to everything and it feels like a house. The staff is great they keep the house totally organized, clean and helped us with information we needed to make our activities. Worthy to stay with them.

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. The remoteness of the place, the piece that one can find there, the nature/wildlife (we saw sloth right next to the path), the food, the attentiveness of the hosts, the build/decoration and surroundings - everything was done in the traditional style. Opportunities for hikes and experiences not far from the place (Bluff beach, La Piscina beach, etc.).

My partner and I spent an unforgettable weekend in a charming overwater cabin on popa island. The ocean views were absolutely stunning, and the serene atmosphere made it the perfect escape. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Their warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our stay. We loved having access to snorkels and paddleboards, which allowed us to fully enjoy the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. It was a blissful experience that we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this paradise to anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in a breathtaking setting.

Each room has a private bathroom with a hot water shower, comfortable beds with canopy mosquito nets, overhead fans and furniture crafted on-site from local materials.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the cost of your stay and the on-site organic gardens supply many of the ingredients for meals. Being fully immersed in the jungle is such an experience! Monkeys came to visit, saw so many animals/birds. Food was so so good! The organic chocolate has no match… just heavenly! Loved the bioluminescence excursion at night. Wonderful people at the facility. Really enjoyed it a lot!

The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests. everything! the house owner Mandy was very helpful in every aspect, very friendly, very attentive, etc. We had a great time while staying there, and the location is paramount to do things in a short time window. I went there with a pregnant wife so that was important for us. The noise of the boats wasn't an issue at all by the way! Hope you guys are doing great!

A beautiful safe place in paradise. Kitchen was clean and had everything needed to prepare meals. Was always someone on the property for any needs. Hostel was cute and close to the surf!!! I loved the amazing snorkeling right on the property with sandy bottom. The breakfast was simple but nice to start the day.
