We had an amazing stay at Publikhaus. The place is very clean and well-kept, and its location is super convenient, just a short walk from the port, which makes traveling around the island so easy. The atmosphere is peaceful and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What really stood out was the warm hospitality of Ms. Nina and her assistant Ate Kristine, they were both so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend Publikhaus Samal to anyone visiting Samal Island, its the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and genuine Filipino hospitality! 🌴✨

We booked 2 rooms on New Year's Eve at the last minute and stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very attentive, polite and accommodating. The rooms' amenities were basic with no fridge but the rooms were quiet, spotlessly clean, equipped with good AC, and a well-functioning hot and cold shower. Bedsheets were clean and the rooms come with bread and coffee for breakfast. It was a very good experience, overall. Thank you, The Strands, for a very comfortable and restful stay. Would definitely recommend and come back. :)

Almost everything. It was a bit of a travel to major events from there but it was good. I have one complaint and that is the aeroplane noise.
