Great place to stay when you are visiting the area. You need mean of transport or to use taxi/public transport to get around. The penzion is little bit away from the main touristic centre. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed—it felt less like checking into a guesthouse and more like being invited into someone’s home. The hosts went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and they generously shared lots of great advice on where to go and what to see in Slovakia. Thanks to their tips, I discovered places I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. The room was cozy and clean, the location peaceful, and the whole experience felt personal and relaxed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly place to stay.

Hiking and walking tours are possible within the area, and Ubytovanie pod Skalkou offers ski storage space. The apartment seemed brand new, clean and well equipped. Lots of parking space.
