Plus: there’s a cheap food stall, laundry service and motorbike rental just in front of the house

The resort is located next to the beautiful beach with not too many people passing by which makes the place very quiet and relaxing. Super friendly staff, especially the owner Taeng who was very helpful and explained how to get to the island and back to mainland. The food was so amazing, so after the first dinner we didn't feel tempted at all to try other restaurants. The bungalow is very spacius, you can relax on hammock on the veranda and fall asleep listening to the sea waves. Highly recommended!

The host was so friendly and helped us with everything. Good location close to the town but in a peaceful area with a nice view. Great breakfast on the terrace. Wish I could stay longer!

Only downsides are noise from mosque and from cicadas (mosque loudspeaker is actually relatively low volume for a typical mosque, and I usually slept through 530am prayer call without earplugs…the cicada noise is insane at certain times of day and is a spectacle to behold…being earplugs for them if you plan to spent time on patio).

A car rental service is available at the guest house. Kho, the lady who greeted us and handled the entire booking was a wonderful host. Most of our communication happened with her and we briefly spoke to her husband to understand what kind of water activities we could participate in on the island. They gave us their honest opinion about everything and directed us to the best spots in town. Ah yes, we also rented a scooter through them and ended up booking our bus journey back to Krabi airport through them too. The price they offered was competitive and it came along with some good advice regarding best practices for riding around the island on scooters - like filling up fuel at petrol stations rather than picking up overpriced fuel from grocery stores.

Located in Ko Lanta and only 400 metres from Long Beach, Aranya Resort Koh Lanta provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property was built in 2019 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The guest house features an infinity pool with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and a shared kitchen. I stayed at Aranya last year and I am pleased to say that the resort has improved significantly. Issues with cleaning and communication have been resolved which unlocks the potential of this resort. Rooms are spacious and bright. Bed was a little hard but it's koh Lanta, so I won't deduct points. Staff were great, helpful and keen the please The pool is excellent, 18m, clear water, good temperature and as it's a small resort you can usually swim alone. Location is great, 10 mins to the beach, 3 mins 7-11 and good restaurants near too.
