This is a truly amazing lodge. Itself is a wonderful experience of my tour in Armenia. The host is super nice. His breakfast is abundant and tasty. He helped me with changes too. I highly recommend Baleni without any question! Oh... .what's more. he also prepared bowls of berries as reception.

Nina and her husband are very friendly. The room is very clean and bright. The common room is delightful, very condortable. There's a balcony for watching the sunset. The bathroom is very nice. The breakfast is also very good (ask for the honey, it's homegrown).

Very small room, but comfortable bed and okay for a short stay. Host family were very friendly and endearing, and offered a taxi service to Tatev monastery the next day (about 30km south).

A nice place with some beautiful touches, like a place around fire in the yard. Amazing hosts. Amazing breakfast with fresh honey-made dishes. And very close to both the monastery and the Wings of Tatev cable car.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were particularly helpful with organising taxis to Tatev and Yerevan at very good prices. The restaurant was also great, with a lot of choices and good dishes. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The location is good for seeing the town centre, cave dwellings, and accessing the main road to Yerevan and Tatev. Thank you!

Mariette is a gem of Armenian hospitality.  don't think twice, book her B&B. You will not only meet wonderful person, but it might change your life. She is full of love and warmth, and her place is heavenly. I don't think you will get to taste such excellent home made Armenian food and drink even in five star hotel! Best is 2days at her place and to see around, including famous Tatev Monastery. With group it's cheap, for solo travelr costly. What more she arranges pick up from Bus station and drop you back while you are returning. Don't forget to try her honey! She is also bee keeper! Most fantastic honey in Armenia.
