We really did like the location, the room was spotlessly clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful , the bathroom was amazing, and the amenities were of top quality. Loved the fact they had a carafe of iced water, tea and coffee available at all times.

Impeccably clean and extremely well appointed facility. Although the space is compact (considering we had x2 large cases to accommodate), the facility more than made up for this with the outdoor space. Having breakfast at the outdoor bar area on our porch was wonderful: listening to the raucous birds in the trees, watching the Brush turkeys visit in the clearing at the end of the garden, morning and night....then on our last morning the kangaroos visited. This was just fabulous for us!! Loved the cabana in the back yard and the comfortable chairs, rugs, candles there. Fabulous for our wine & cheese board, absorbing the lovely surroundings.

All good : situated in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the city center and Cairns central. Good value for money as a couple, as you also have a small kitchen with everything needed. Plus Julie is a welcoming and helpful host !

Lovely family who go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. Very clean and quiet. Bed comfy. There is a large closet in the room with hangers and a set of drawers. Plenty of space to store clothes. There is a shared bathroom but not an issue for us. It was always available when we needed. Shower is amazing - whisper quiet and very relaxing with over head and hand held. We didn't use pool area because it was winter and a bit too chilly and rainy but they have set up a table and chairs poolside along with a BBQ that is for guest use. They have a dog but aside from a few brief barks no interaction. They do their best to keep the dog in areas away from guests. Bron, Howie, and Talita are always cheerful and available for help or advice regarding tours, dining, sights etc. We weren't planning on this type of accomodation. Happened by accident but in the end a happy accident. And with the money we saved, we had enough left over in our travel budget to take a tour of the reef.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lahania by the Sea - JJ Place, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I was impressed by the outstanding service, breathtaking views, and overall ambiance of the place. First of all Tony is a very good host. I was given the room at first floor of his house with separate toilet and bathroom. My room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with modern amenities. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable king-sized bed to the luxurious bathroom with its high-quality toiletries. It was evident that a lot of thought had been put into creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Whether I was lounging on the private balcony of my room or strolling along the nearby beach, the serene beauty of the surroundings never failed to captivate me. You can use theirkitchen, fridge and amenities if you like to cook a dinner or drink for yourself. My stay at Lahania by the Sea - JJ Place was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking location, luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and overall ambiance made it a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and indulgent getaway. I will highly recommend this to my fellow booking friends.
