The place has everything you need. It's very close to the Lauterbrunnen station (<5min walking), there are shared kitchens, dining areas and bathrooms (1 per floor), rooms are comfortable, check-in is easy and they are flexible (e.g. leaving your luggage there when you go skiing). Everything was clean. Staff is friendly and the guests I met were nice and reasonable (not loud or anything). And finally, the prices are great (especially for Swiss standards), and one of the main reasons I've stayed there so many times. I honestly don't understand how come they don't have a higher score.

We just had a fantastic stay here. The room was huge, very clean and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to prepare light meals for our family of 3. The location is excellent right by Spiez train station, on-site parking was included and the view is absolutely stunning coming into the driveway. Huge thank you to Bettina who was such an amazing host. She went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended, we look forward to staying here again next time we visit!

In the heart of Interlaken, Downtown Family&Friends has mountain views from the terrace. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.

I had an amazing stay! The restaurant system is fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. The terrace is beautiful with a breathtaking view, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are warm, welcoming, and impeccably clean. I truly felt at home and would be more than happy to come back. Highly recommended!

While a little small at first you come to find there is ample space between the corridor, kitchen, washroom and bed area. Daniela took care of the tiny touches. Things like extra towels, basic cooking amenities apart from good utensils covered oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, orange juice and more! The view from the room was beautiful, it was all in all a really cozy experience. Even finding an iron added a delight factor since we had a few crumpled clothes from all the suitcase stuffing :) the apartment is a 10 min walk from the train station which brought its own peace and quiet while also being very accessible to all the important areas. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. I would highly recommend apartment Lala. Daniela is a great hostess and you’re sure to have a cozy stay

We liked the room, it is comfortable and everything was functioning. The balcony had the great view for the lake and the mountains. Better if you have a car.
