Hostal Vaihere is a wonderful place to spend your holodays in Rapa Nui. It has beautiful garden, you can use kitchen and common spaces, it's close to the main road, shops and restaurants are just behind the corner. Rooms are specious and beds comfortable. Ita is taking care of his guests like noone else. I was on the island during the festival and every day he was sending me the schedule of activities and keeping me informed if something has changed, he was explaining local life and traditions, sharing the music and was always willing to help and chat a little :) i had a wonderful time there :)

The host is very kind and hospitable. The included breakfast is good, during the stay there I felt like I was at the village with my grandmother. The city center is in 30-40 minutes of walking.

Great value for money. It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.
