Homestays in Valladolid

Breakfast wasn't provided. The room was modern and clean, with a little balcony and table and chairs. Sorry I couldn't have stayed longer to make use of it. Excellent value. The lady on reception was so nice, even though her English was very basic. I was travelling on my own and it makes a huge difference to know that hotel reception staff will go the extra mile to help, particularly when there's a language barrier. It was very much appreciated.

A beautiful room close to the centre. Very clean and modern design. I made a mistake in my booking and arrived late but they were very helpful and everything worked out fine. Great WiFi and the river close by has a sandy beach with beautiful parks.

I give it a firm "10", as the hostal totally fulfilled my expectations, but my review is going to be as honest as possible. 1) The location is perfectly centric with all it usually implies. The hotel is part of a beautiful building, very easy to find. All the famous places of interest are within the walking distance of five minutes or less. 20 minutes on foot from the bus station, passing through the beautiful park of Campo Grande (with peacocks and ponds). Unfortunately, the centric location means there is inevitable noise from tourists and locals passing by in the street, talking and laughing very loudly until late at night. When a group of them stopped to discuss something right under the window of my room, it was unbearable. 2) The personnel is nice and polite. At check-in, I was greeted in a friendly manner and given the paper with the code to the door, so as I could come and go at will if I should wish to go out at nighttime. 3) The hostal disposes of a lift, which should be important for people with reduced mobility. 4) There is no breakfast served, no kettle in the room, but you can eat out, in one of the many nearby cafés and restaurants. 5) Now I booked an individual room (104) and maybe the other rooms are better, but the noise from the corridor was noticeable and added to that from the street. After 1 am it seemed to be quieter. 6) The room corresponded perfectly to the pictures at Booking, it was nice and clean. There is a small table. The Internet is good. But what I really loved was the bathroom, and this is actually what makes me give the hostal a grateful 10: for a big bathtub, hot water and all kinds of necessary things, including a dental kit, a comb, a shower cap and a little yellow bath sponge. Lovely! ♥ 7) All in all, for a one-night stay it is very convenient and a quite good value for money.

The terrace, location and scenery were great. It was nice to have a closet for clothes. The staff was friendly.
