Magdalene was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful and had a wonderful personal touch. The wooden cabins were outstanding- built by master craftsmen in European spruce, they were beautiful, functional, warm and fragrant. The small village is off the beaten track and is quiet and quaint with great walking trails on your doorstep. The rooms are located right next to the Pandy Inn which has a lovely pub and serves good food. This was one of the best stays we experienced during our tour of the UK!

This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel, comfortable rooms and a free Wi-Fi zone.

The room was clean, quiet, and cosy. The location was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The host was very welcoming& friendly and even offered us some chicken casserole on arrival! The whole place is beautiful especially the bar area, the room was very cozy and inviting and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was gorgeous too! Will definitely be returning!

Easy check-in, helpful staff, clean and comfy room. At July 2023 I'd say head into town by turning right out of the front door as they've blocked off the pavement on the walk into town the other way (I.E. past the stadium/football ground). No breakfast included but that was fine for us.

What a fantastic find! We've stayed in Hay before but have never had such a wonderful, friendly welcome. Everything was perfect - the room, breakfast (veggie) and most of all, Sally was a lovely host who made sure that we had everything we needed. Thank you Sally, we'll be back soon!
