Discretely elegant and unpretentious country house hotel, nestled in the Moray countryside. Charming host Graham has had an extraordinary life and it’s no surprise that he and his wife Sheena have made such a success of Blervie and created such a fine and welcoming hotel. The place is immaculate and attention to detail meant that nothing was forgotten. Our room was large but not drafty with gorgeous views over the grounds. Loads of hot water was appreciated. Top quality bedding and a comfortable mattress made for a wonderful nights sleep. There was no television but that added to the feeling of escape from real life. Breakfast was served at the large communal dining table was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed meeting other guests and hearing some of Graham’s fascinating farming experiences.

Staff were awesome. Helpful and kind. Don’t go down the road for a curry.. appalling. Loved the pub. Night we stays had a fiddlers jam session which was absolutely fabulous. It was a great night. Breakfast was very good. Thanks to the barman for everything.

We were a group of 5 friends on a trip to Speyside to visit distilleries. We felt Welcome right from the time we arrived at Moraydale Guest House. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were nice, clean and cosy, and we got clean towels daily. Breakfast was delicious and we could use the dining room in the evening for a nightcap before bedtime. We can highly recomend Moraydale Guest House and would go back anytime.
