I used this guesthouse as a sort of homebase while doing treks throughout Svanetti region. Very helpful family and great food. I slept amazing here listening to the river and village sounds. After long hikes i rested by the river and went for some cold plunges - loved it.

The landlady is very nice and communicative. She felt like family. They make their own cheese and the breakfast is delicious. When we come to Mestia next time, we will definitely stay there again.

Had the best time in our Georgia trip at Eco House Svaneti. The views were spectacular and the host David and his family were so warm and welcoming! It didn't feel like we were staying at a guesthouse. I loved playing with the adorable little ones (David's daughters) and the pet ducks and fur babies Toby and Bobby. David and his dad Leo picked us up and dropped us to the bus point and even gave us a ride till Mestia city center. Extremely thoughtful and generous! It's rare to come across such kindness in this day and age. And oh boy! The accommodation was crazy beautiful. We took a private room the first night and upgraded the next day to a beautiful cottage in the middle of the garden- where we woke up to breathtaking mountain views. The breakfast and dinner were extremely delicious! I am gonna come back here again!

The place is very beautiful, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was a true comfort – modern and equipped with heated floors, which we especially appreciated after a day spent outdoors. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and kind – attentive to every detail and always ready to help. She took great care of her guests and made us feel right at home. Every morning she prepared delicious, hearty breakfasts made with local products – a real treat! The views were absolutely stunning and could be enjoyed from the spacious terrace – a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. This place has everything you need for a perfect stay in the heart of Svaneti. We highly recommend it and would gladly return.

It was lovely there, very comfortable and Nino was soo helpful and nice to us, she did us some favours too. It was so lovely to be back there after several days of hiking too! And the ladies in the kitchen were very nice as well, and very very good cooks!

The owners of the place are very friendly. Tamuna treated me with some Georgian dishes and her father drank cognac with me. I felt welcome there. The room is small but cozy, the bed is comfy and the bed linen is cotton, not synthetic. Very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen facilities had to be shared with the family (there is no separate kitchen for the guests) but it was ok. The location is maybe 15 minutes away from the center. The wifi is good.

The accommodation is excellent and I totally recommend it!! We stayed in triple room on july 2025. for 5 nights, and we got much more than expected. We had nice, fully renovated part of the house and room with completely new furniture and bathroom. The room is spacious and bigger than described, which is a pleasant change considering that many hosts on booking.com overestimate the square meters of their rooms. Beds are comfortable, everything is nice, new and clean. The property is very well maintained beautiful, traditional georgian house with porch, terrace, spacious garden and view on the forest, river and mountains. The place is quiet, peaceful and perfect to take a rest, but still very near to the centre of Mestia. The room and bathrom is perfectly clean and maintained. You can also use washing machine for a small fee, and dry your loundry in the sun. Breakfast and other meals are also available (payed separately) so you don't have to go everywhere for food. The breakfast we got on our 1st day was very filling so we packed up the leftovers, ate it all day in the mountains and were still full all day. The host really knows how to prepare breakfast for a whole day hike! Although we came very late to check in, our young host welcomed us with cake and tea. We could get tea and coffee every day for free. Also, she was very helpful and friendly, always asked us if we need anything, and showed great understanding for every situation. She speaks english, so comunication is easy. I am very happy that I chose this room (and garden that comes with it) and I would certainly come back again

I had a truly special stay in Latali village. The guesthouse is nestled in a peaceful and scenic part of Svaneti, with a beautiful garden where you’ll find a real Svan tower, such a unique and atmospheric touch that adds to the traditional charm of the place.
