First impressions were great. After driving up and down tiny short lanes looking for the accommodation, we were approached by a staff member of Mystras Inn. We quickly became aware that our accommodation and the Inn were branches of the same business. The staff member led us to our accommodation which was only 25 meters away!!! He indicated that we were not the first guests to get lost-it appears there is a glitch with google map co-ordinates and nothing to do with the Inn/accommodation. Location of room was on the first floor (room 22) with great views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are clearly quite new with a large bathroom and shower. Air conditioning was terrific. Wi-Fi good as long as you are on the terrace. Breakfast was included in the fee and was served at the Inn and was hearty. Off-street parking on the premises. Everything was very clean and towels changed daily. Mystras Inn serves food and drinks throughout the day/evening.

The hotel is in a quiet mountain location with dedicated parking. We had a stylish room with a balcony adjacent to the main building. There was a small pool nearby. A spectacular breakfast-in-a-basket, with mainly local ingredients, is delivered to your door at a time of your choosing. There is an attractive lawn area right across the road for drinks with an impressive view of Sparta down below. On cooler evenings there was a fireplace going in the main building’s terrace. The staff members were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Sofia was a great host, very friendly and ready to help in anything needed. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The utilities provided were outstanding and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Afrodite the owner was very polite & friendly. The location is in a typical Greek village in Kambos Avias,Messinia in the Peloponnese. The room was basic, but with an ensuite shower room, air-conditioning & with a cute garden. Where there were olive trees. There was even a view of the mountain Taygetos. And at the same time, it's only 20 minute drive by car to beautiful beaches, such as Kitries,Satova, Akroyali & many more... It was such a wonderful experience. Having the feeling of living in a traditional Greek village. The olive trees,the fig trees, old stone village houses, local schools & churches. Everything is nearby, at walking distance. There are lovely coffees shops,a cake shop,little shops , tavernas,a butcher, supermarket, bakery, chemist & village doctor etc. The people were very welcoming & made us feel at home..As one old lady, gave us figs & eggs. We went only to Kardamili. But next time we plan to stay longer & explore Stoupa beach, Ayios Nikolaos, Vathia, Oitilo . Thank you Afrodite , we will be back again..

Anita's hosting was the perfect base for me in Kalamata! It had everything I could ask for and more: comfortable bed, air conditioning, balcony overlooking the olive trees, fridge in the room, and very good kitchen/cooking facilities. Anita and Dimitri were beautiful hosts, too, treating me like family and making me feel very welcome. It was lovely and quiet, a perfect place for getting away from it all, but also close enough to feel connected to everything. I guess it might be a bit far from the beach or (touristy) city centre for some people, as it's up the hill away from town; but it's close to the bus station and the fabulous Saturday market, and I would take the character, authenticity and calm that it gives you over the plasticky shopping-mall vibes of Tourist Central and the beach resorts any day! Thank you so so much for providing me with a lovely home while in Kalamata, Anita and Dimitri. I hope to be back again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Everything was perfect ! We really enjoyed our stay at Mitsos' house. The owner Mitsos' is very kind, helpful and informative about our stay. Very well equiped room, with all the amenities we could've asked for. Everything was shinny clean, there's a laundromat access. A roof access with stunning view from above were you can enjoy a morning coffee or a late wine. The pool is the cherry on top, were you can relax, sunbathe and chill. We'll for sure try to book again when we'll visit Mani.
