I had a superb stay with most friendly People Kaden and Ilo. They where perfect hosts. Kadek is a very skilled driver and guide and Ilo makes fruity pancakes as Breakfast. They are very clean and friendly and Help where they can. Inwill definately come back to comeon in Amed. This was a superstay for this price. Kitchen is shared and it’s so close to the beach that you don’t need a pool. Yoga is closeby and the diveshop is next doors. Perfect stay.

Our stay at Tudes Homestay was simply exceptional. The homestay is right on the beach and close to all Amed's amenities: shops, restaurants, bars, laundry, ATM etc. There's a coral garden right in front of the house, we saw a turtle and a lot of beautiful fishes snorkeling just few meters from the shore, unbelievable. We also saw dolphins passing by one afternoon. The room and the bathroom were big and had everything we needed. The room is cleaned daily and is in good conditions. The bed had mosquito nets, that's always useful, although in this area there aren't many mosquitos. The shower has hot water. The porch of the room was right in front of the beach and we loved to sit there having a coffee. Sleeping with the sound of the sea feels such a luxury! Breakfast was great (we had incredible homemade banana pancakes + fresh fruit) and I loved to have hot water always available to make a coffee or a tea. A/C worked great, same for the wifi. There's also a mini fridge in the room, that's helpful. The homestay is in a great position also for sunsets and sunrises. You can see spectacular sunsets with the sun hiding right behind Mount Agung, very very beautiful. And also very beautiful sunrises. The huge added value to our stay was Kadek and his family. Kadek has been incredibly welcoming and helped us with so many things! We went on a tour of various temples with him, he prepared and barbecued with his son a delicious fish dinner for us and gave us a ride to Padangbai when we left. He can organise all sorts of activities for you and that's super helpful. He's also a Dive Master and we went diving at the USAT Liberty ship wreck with him. We loved the dive because we could take our time and enjoy it properly (being just the three of us). We learnt a lot about Balinese culture, way of living and Amed's history with him. I can't recommend Tudes Homestay enough, it gives you so much value for such a fair price.
