Everything is good about the place. Nice location right in front of Mt Bromo. And Lava restaurant at 1 min walk. The room was good and spacious with hot shower. The owner is very helpful. He will help you with everything during your stay. He gave some nice tips to us in avoiding crowded tours and doing everything on our own without guide. Must stay place when at Cemorolawang.

Very well received by the family. Maria takes good care, always checking if we needed anything. Room is very nice, very clean, extra warm blankets, hot shower and the homestay has a terras with a beautiful mountain view. We received extra bottles of water and hot water to make our coffee. Location close (4km) to entree of Bromo park and minimarkt and restaurants closeby

The first thing that came to mind was the staff’s kindness and availability. They did everything possible to make our stay as good as possible, always ready to help! The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. The food was really good too. The location is excellent for a Bromo Mountain tour. A totally recommended stay!

Friendly staff, Angri gave good explanations on how to get to Bromo, which options with motorbikes/jeep, cost. Nice surroundings with houses, gardens, cafe 3min, good restaurant 3min down the road. The homestay itself has a small resto, even if some things are not freshly made, but it is very useful when arriving late or for breakfast. we liked the banana pancakes. Beds were comfortable, one could relax in the sun or shade in front of the house.

The mother of the man who normally manages this homestay was in charge for us all the time. And she was fantastic! Very kind, very sweet. She didn't speak English but we just managed to communicate via Translator-App.

In this price range we were happy with this homestay :) Room was big, clean. Very comfortable couches in the hall, hot shower with enough space to hang your clothes etc. Everything was clean enough. Good location.

Simple and efficient homestay to spend one night in Cemoro Lawang before hiking Bromo. The bed was warm, the bathroom was not the most comfortable but enough for one night. The place was clean to me, its not the prettiest but you don't need that if you just come for Bromo

Cahyo homestay is well located inside Bromo village that must pay an entrance fee of 250K pp (25 AUD pp), 50K (5 AUD) for vehicles entrance. The property is between the Bromo crater and the King Kong hills. It’s a perfect spot for ppl who want to hike. The room itself is a decent size and in a clean condition given how remote and suburban the area is. Cahyo is a lovely host that has given us good guidelines on how to go about hiking Bomo in the early morning, and had offered hot water for coffee and tea. Would recommend him for hikers.

The host family was very friendly and helpful. They organized the Bromo Tour for me and everything was perfect. Furthermore the meals in the restaurant of their Homestay are very delicious. I would definitely would come back.
