The bungalows are located right on a private beach shared by 2-3 other accommodations. The view from the room and porch are just lovely. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and clean, and the location is probably the most peaceful on the island. There’s no hot water to shower but we already knew this, and given how hot and humid it can get, we didn’t ever need it either. We booked 2 nights, extended for 3 more and if we had more time, we would’ve stayed much longer. To be honest, the photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the place actually is. And last but certainly not least, the host and his wife are kind and friendly people. We learnt a lot about the island, Aceh, Achinese people and a few other interesting things from the host. We hope to be back someday and spend at least a month in this tropical paradise.

- Watching the magnificent view of your private bay from the hammock. - Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. - The bungalow having hotel like luxuries like a mini fridge, your own drink water tank and coffee and tea supplies. - The roofless shower. But most of all: The delightful hosts who will do anything in their power to make you feel as comfortable as possible and deliver the services that you may want or need. They are genuinely good people who really care about you, the community and also the environment. Tips: - Go have dinner with them at least once. Yuyun is a really good cook. And there is a future restaurant in the making! - Ask Borja for tips what to do around the island and where to get the best coffee. - Rent a scooter from the hosts to see the island. They are safe, well-maintained and helmets available. - Rent snorkel equipment from the hosts. (One of) the most beautiful snorkeling spot(s) is right in front of you. - If you want to go diving, make sure to enquire about it with Borja and Yuyun as they are both divemasters.

Great waterfront bungalow..Good AC, hot water shower and bed. Great restaurant,perhaps the best in the area. Good snorkeling right on your doorstep. They rent motorcycles to see the island. Friendly staff.

Second time here, all clean, comfortable, near to sumur tiga beach. Many street food along the way to sumur tiga beach and the people around very friendly. rent a scooter strolling around sabang also easy to go to city centre.

Quiet and comfortable, hot water air conditioning, family room with kitchen, great sea view, snorkeling down the stairs, amazing coral and fish, very close to the dive shop, 5 minutes walk.

The atmosphere, the willingness to make you welcome and comfortable. I've been a visitor to Eka and Olala for 18 years would I have done that if it wasn't worth while ?
