This was by far one of the best homestay I have had in my travels. The rooms are super clean and showers has hot water. They have good wifi, coffe tea and fruits all day long free of charge. Breakfast was amazing and very big not like in other places. But by far the best part is the owner which helped me a lot welcomed me with free of charge breakfast 6 a clock in the morning and did not charge for late check out las day 😀 the guide he recommended was very professional and gave as and amazing two day tour around Toraja including traditional Torajan funeral ceremony. They also have scooters to rent so if you want to explore this. Beautiful aria on your own you can do it with no guide.

You are standing right at the edge of a rice field with a beautiful mountain on the back of it. Lovely sunset from your coffee table. Room and toilet are spotless. Comfortable bed, comfy and bright room and strong WiFi. The owner and his son are incredibly welcoming and friendly. We felt like at home. Free coffe and tea, which is always super nice to have. No hot water available but they arranged a bucket of steaming hot water for us one rainy day that we came back soaked wet. Location is also great. Quiet yet close to city centre

Jakob and their family were AMAZING , we felt like we were at home all the time, they helped us with everything we needed it. Rooms were simple but comfortable and they have a nice terrace just in front of the forest were you can seat and have a coffee always there for everyone Jakob also spent the day with us and showed us everything we wanted to.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The staff welcomed us, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents! Such lovely people it felt like we were a part of their family; they took care of us so well and were so welcoming. Felt right at home. Thank you!!

Very good accommodation, a few minutes from the center in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice owners and everyone else at the hotel. They are happy to help with everything, help arrange a guide, or the guide will find you at breakfast if you need it. When I go to Tanja Toraja again, I will definitely stay here.for a good price, great quality. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere.

    Great homestay, big beds, hot shower with good pressure and a shared bathroom that's always clean. Breakfast is one of the best I've had in whole Indonesia. Above all, Ibra is a lovely host and would do anything to help you or make your day better, give you recommendations, his contacts. The funeral ceremony tour with him was also an amazing experience. Absolutely recommended!

    Lovely host family. Paulus (host) did take us to a Torajan funeral as a guide. Also he arranged a rental motorbike/moped for us. His wife Ernie makes the best banana pancakes for breakfast!!

    Meske and her family are the best host family you could ever wish for! Your stay will be a true experience with the locals, their food and habits. Meske goes the extra mile; she will spend evenings with you to help you plan your programme and suggest the best guides and drivers. This is not a simple stay - you should know you will leave your heart in Toraja ;)
