The food was delicious! Excellent location, everything we wanted to see was rather close; Ubud, monkey forest, rice terraces, etc. Nice and quiet location, perfect for good sleep. Just the rain and jungle noises in the background, a true Bali experience. The staff was very accommodating and kind!

Locely place to calm down. In the middle of jungle. You hace a nice view with rice paddles and coconut trees from balcony Room is spacious and modern. The prívate Bathroom is openair. It was nice experience with nature. You can hear only the voice of birds and insects. Staff is so kind. They have drivers that you can make day tour to see important sights. The villa was exceptional and was so much better than expected from the pictures. On arrival in this tropical haven, we were met with warm and friendly hosts Mega & her father. This was a perfect location to explore the local area, and within reasonable distance to Ubud and other places of interest. This was a perfect place to stay away from the chaos of main tourist spots. There is a good variety of eating places in the local area, and spas, or in house Balinese massage arranged by our hosts. This is a gem for peaceful , relaxing break. Totally recommend.

Our stay at Ubud Sawah Scenery Villa and Homestay was great ! Amy and Yoga, the hosts, are very nice, friendly, helpful and fun. The rooms and environment are beautiful and peaceful. The semi outdoor shower and bath are really nice too. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place near Ubud. You can rent a motorbike or book a Gojek or Grab to get around easily. You can also book a massage and have the therapist directly come to your room. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Half the menu is Indonesian food and the other half is Thai food. Both exquisite ! I would go back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend the place !

    This home stay is a hidden gem. It’s away from the tragic and busy streets of downtown Ubud. Waking up with the views of the rice fields was relaxing and gorgeous. We loved the views and peaceful atmosphere. We had a delicious breakfast of banana pancakes, fresh fruit and coffee.

    Mega is an exceptionally great host, who is very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed having our own villa and private pool, therefore a lot of privacy. The facilities are in perfect condition as the villas are BRAND NEW. We could rent a scooter from them, in great condition and for a reasonable price. Right around the corner is a really nice temple, the ceking riceterasse is near by, and Mt Batur is just half an hour drive away. There are some nice restaurants as well as mini markets and laundry options in walking distance.

    This place is the most authentic homestay experience I have ever had in my entire life. They are incredibly kind, warm and inclusive. If you're looking to connect and learn more about Balinese culture I highly recommend staying here. It's also great value for money!

    Amazingly scenery in the ricepaddy… I booked the villa with private pool. A steal for that money. Lovely place, lovely hosts… just outside ubud in beautiful surroundings with nice restaurants around the corner.

    The true homestay experience in Bali! This is the only accommodation where we really had the opportunity to see locals' life from inside, interact with the family and participate in religious ceremonies. You are surrounded by farm animals, next to a rice field, with Balinese breakfast, and staying inside a family temple. The family is lovely and gave a lot of attention to our 1 year old boy. Kenderan is a little village with hardly any tourists, it's central from many attractions north of Ubud, and the locals are extremely welcoming
