The property was clean, well organized and the staff was very helpful and polite. We had dinner there - chicken curry, aaloo gobhi, dal tadka and rotis- and the food was really tasty and home like. The view from the balcony is beautiful and serene. And one can see both the sunset and sunrise.

Waking up to a breathtaking mountain view right outside our window was the best part. Add to that the serene scenic beauty of the valley, and it’s hard not to fall in love with this place. The surrounding greenery, chirping birds, and peaceful vibes make you want to pause time and just soak it all in. The owners, a kind and generous young couple, truly made the stay memorable. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. It’s rare to come across hosts who treat their guests like old friends—these two nailed it! One of the highlights of our stay was the wholesome barbecue night. The homestay provides a barbecue facility, and it was an absolute hit. Sitting under the starry sky, enjoying delicious grilled treats, and sharing stories by the fire—it was everything you’d want in a perfect getaway evening. Magpie was a home away from home. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Decor has been very pleasant. The place was green, clean, beautiful and truly in nature's lap. Neha, the owner, very sweet lady. Although we panned to stay for 4 days, but had to return after 2 days due to some urgency back home. Neha understood us and adjusted our request nicely. Property is superb with so much trees of fruits. The staffs (Mohit and team) were very hospitable, flexible and warm. Place has beautiful view of Bhimtal lake and mountain valleys. The place is perfect to spend time with family .Scenic view is fantastic. You can enjoy birds chirping when wake up in the morning.. This is a great place to relax and also conveniently located for adventures and site seeing. The location is a bit far from the main road, . A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back. Overall, We had a lovely stay.

I knew exactly that I had arrived at the right place when the owners greeted me in the living room. Full of bird pictures. They are extremely knowledgeable about the birds of India and also of the region. Rapidly, they helped me to organize the whole week of bird. Watching in the area in a guide was available immediately. I have never seen a lodge that is so affordable for bird watching. The owners were constantly in touch with a guide throughout the day to ensure a smooth visit and also, that I would be able to see all the characteristic birds of the area. It is also possible to eat in the morning for lunch and dinner for a very reasonable price because the food is cooked freshly before each meal. The lodge hires local people that they trained into guides. .The bedrooms are comfortable and have a very good size and the bathroom even has hot water. They are specialists of all the birds of india and I would definitely come back to visit other parts of india with them

    Pleasent stay. Big rooms and beautiful property. Stay was beyond our expectation. It's a homestay type of property but it's better than most of the hotels. Food is also delicious and home cooked.
