Mr & Mrs Shameer (owner) are two wonderful and kind host. They welcomed us as one of the family. They made us feel comfortable and cosy. Always there whenever we need some help. Mrs Shameer (Chandini) cooking is never to be missed. We felt like we were in 5 star hotel, in fact it was better than that. Highly recommended to all those who wants to go for a holiday in Darjeeling. No regrets. Will definitely stay there again.

It was a beautiful experience to spend some time with such warmhearted people. Jasmine ji was too good and too jovial. It felt like home to be honest. We got to attend a local dusshera mela as well and the entire trip was a 10/10.

I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

The hospitality of the owner is awesome. They provided everything to make our stay comfortable. Room was clean & Foods were too much tasty, specially the home made momos just melted our heart. Stayed at Asraya Homestay for 3 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The homestay offers some of the most beautiful mountain views you could ask for. Although my 3 rooms didn’t have a direct view of Kanchenjunga, the scenery was still breathtaking, and all the pictures you see online are absolutely true – it’s just as stunning in real life. The location is ideal, only a 15-minute walk from Chauk Bazaar, making it convenient yet peaceful. The hospitality here is top-notch. Vicky, the host, is one of the warmest, most helpful people I’ve met. He went out of his way to assist whenever there were any issues with drivers, which made my stay stress-free and enjoyable. A tip: definitely speak with him before booking any transport or packages – his knowledge and connections are invaluable! The cleanliness and upkeep of Asraya Homestay are impeccable, and the staff are friendly and attentive. And don’t miss trying the tea – Vicky serves the best tea I had in Darjeeling, perfect for enjoying with the beautiful views. Overall, Asraya Homestay is a gem in Darjeeling. Its new so there are less reviews to go by but I’m sure they will become one of the bests in no time. If you’re looking for a place with great views, exceptional hospitality, and all the comforts you’d need, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!
