The hosts were exceptionally sweet and helpful. They took care of all our needs. Scrumptious food served every day. Rooms were nice and clean. Darjeeling is cold but we were provided with room heaters and additional blankets. In my opinion the homestay was worthy of a 10/10 rating. Darjeeling is a cold place but all the people here and the service at Donna’s homestay made it a warm experience for us.

Tranquil Retreat Homestay, Ghum is an excellent stay in all respect. The owner and his family never gave me a scope for thinking if I was outside of my own home. They are so gentle. They cared during my two nights stay much more than one can think. They prepared every meal with utmost care. It is situated in a walkable distance near Ghum / Ghoom railway station. One can visit Old Monastery Ghum by walking 3 minutes only. I would rate the Homestay 10/10 and strongly recommend to stay for atleast one night while visiting Darjeeling town. I wish them all success in life.

The location, and the people who manage the farm stay, create an oasis of peace and tranquility for the guests who are fortunate enough to discover Bloomfield Farmhouse. Situated on the fringe of Ghum/Darjeeling, it feels rural and of being surrounded by woodland and tea farms, away from the bustle of Darjeeling. I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!
