The place is great to see the old churches in Old Goa. Quiet and safe location. Very friendly and helpful hosts who took good care of us. Roswald even took us out to experience a bit of nigh life in Panjim (within reach) with a friend, and that is of course a big bonus. Great laughs and good beer. Thanks!

Great place to stay. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, no insects. There is also a shop downstairs.

It was very clean, comfy and cosy. Wi-fi was very good and patio was great for working, chilling. Panaji was also much nicer than we expected. Owner heled us with sim card registration, answeared all our questions, helped us with scooters.

We had a lovely stay at Afonso Guest House! The location is great, you can explore the neighbourhood by walk; the house is very cozy; the rooms are clean, with AC and a fan, and the staff is super sweet and helpful! Lovely large room, on two floors. Kitchenette and fridge. Huge comfortable bed, nice linen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great shower. Efficient quiet AC. Beautifully kept garden - lots of birds to watch. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. The island makes a peaceful change from coastal Goa.
