I recently stayed at this property and was absolutely blown away by the view. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, making it easy to settle in. Large windows and a spacious room really let the view take center stage. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend.

Staying at this homestay felt just like being with family. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their warm behavior truly made the experience special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape that added to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious—home-cooked, authentic, and easily some of the best I’ve had during my travels. On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!

A wonderful, authentic homestay! They made me feel part of the family, I was thrilled with the meals, and the mountain view and surrounding countryside are fantastic. I had a spacious room and pristine private bathroom, with hot water for a comfortable shower. It's ideal for travellers who want to experience a touch of rural living. True, it's a steep hike to Ravangla from Deythang village, but there are shared jeeps, I'm told. There are some challenging hikes in the area.

The host was really proactive in helping, both in finding me from the shared taxi and making sure I got my next one. Food was amazing, dinners were always more than I could eat with many different delicious dishes. whilst wifi dropped in and out it was usually only for a few seconds, otherwise I could do everything I needed with it. Whilst it is a bit away from the "centre". If you are a backpacker like me it was still very easy to walk around and get to the things I wanted to look at. I ended up in a balcony room, which was a really good size, and the balcony was a really nice addition to the room.

I had the most wonderful stay at Yangdup Bhutia's family home, which is a beautiful mix of local art and extremely new facilities. For the evening meals I was offered different types of Sikkimese food, which were all delicious and filling. There is a large reception room for reading, yoga, television, and tea, and the bedroom is large with a lovely view of the hill. It's in walking distance of the monastery, the bird park and the ruins, and Yangdup could not have been more helpful in arranging transport for the lake, skywalk, and waterfalls, and a taxi back to Siliguri. Thanks also to Rinku for a great sightseeing day. All the family are so welcoming, and it was nice to be a little outside the main town. Quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful view of the valley. Thanks all.
