We had a wonderful stay. Soly and her husband are very caring and attentive. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The bus to Munnar is right in front, offering beautiful views along the way. Bonus: Soly cooks delicious meals! We recommend this homestay.

We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Thoppil. Very beautiful surroundings with waterfall and swimming possibilities, clean and cozy room and absolutely delicious homemade Kerala food. It is easy to go to Munnar by local bus, car or tuk tuk. The owners are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do. They helped us book a half day hike with a guide in the tea plantations, which was very beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend to stay at Thoppil homestay!

Mainly the woman running the homestay, Simi, was super helpful and friendly. She went out her way to make us local food, organise tour and give us recommendations of walks nearby. She even let us use her scooter. There is a beautiful river nearby to have a swim. Beautiful garden with lots of plants and fruit

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this homestay. The place was very clean, and the hospitality was excellent—truly made me feel at home. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to all amenities, which made everything very accessible. The food was absolutely amazing, a real highlight of the stay. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience!

What a truly hidden gem of a place. So cosy so peaceful and quiet. A magical experience. Enveloped in nature, quite secluded but safe not far from the owners family home who gave us space to enjoy surroundings. The meals the family made for us were absolutely lovely. The open shower is also a great idea. We loved every second of our stay and would come back again and again. A highlight of our Kerala trip.
