Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.

The best place to have relaxing days. The property manager Arun was extremely kind and happy to provide whatever we needed. He also showed us the nature around, and did a 1h trekking to watch sunrise from the mountain. I loved the fresh watermelon juices, and drinking them in the pool. I would totally come back :D!!!

Was one of our best stay of our trip in India. We did not regret it and met such a nice family. The room was clean and the view was perfect. Nancy (the auntie) and Joy (the uncle) were so welcoming and shared a lot about kerala life with us. Nancy is the best at cooking and the food… omg they pick the spices and veggies directly from the garden. Joy is so passionate about their garden and we had the privilege to have a little visit of the garden. We will never forget our memories there and it felt like home to us. Thank you again for everything!

very quiet in the nature. lovely man who arranged food and chai for us. the owner was very lovely and drove us to our next destination. he was very warm and friendly and drove us home a lovely way through the best forest area we have seen here.

We loved our short stay with the family at Thoppil Homestay. The room was big enough for 4 people, clean, with a nice balcony where we had afternoon coffee with cookies. Nisha cooked us amazing breakfasts and dinners every day. The whole family made us feel very welcomed. They arranged visit to tea plantations and everything we needed, even a car service to our next destination. We really loved the location and enjoyed beeing surrounded by nature. We highly recommend this Homestay.
