The best part about my trip to Sikkim was my stay at The Sherpa's Abode. The view from the room was fantastic, the staff were also very cordial and warm especially, Vinay, Savita and Suraj. The food that was served by them was always warm and fresh and felt like we were eating at a relative's home. The host Nima Uncle is such a sweet and kind person. He shared his life stories with us which were so inspiring, he helped out with arranging taxi transportation and also gave hacks on taking care at higher altitudes. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, which is so rare to see these days.

First, the hosts Misriti and Sanjog. They were absolutely amazing, taking care of all our needs and more. Room was very clean and had a very nice sunrise view, though Kanchanjangha can’t be seen from the property. Misriti prepared very tasty food. The place have a very nice view and located on the hill top at the same time close to market and convenient for travel towards tourist attractions like the himalayan zoo and the tsongo lake and nathula pass. We had a wonderful experience with the owner of the homestay showing us the places where we get to learn of the local culture and history of silkim. As for food, the local cusine is what we get with good taste and as par with what we had asked for. The visit to sikkim was unplanned but the experience we got feels like the best deal.
