We had a brilliant stay at Bente's Lodge. Spectacular location with a view of snowcapped mountains and small streams from rooms. Rooms are spacious, with clean bathrooms and bed heater. The location is peaceful and secluded ( Tip: Google location is not accurate. Better to call the owner from the petrol pump at Pahalgam. They offer free ride to the property. This is recommended even if you come with your own vehicle). We enjoyed short walks to the river bank through the valleys. They have simple and delicious food offerings. The owner Jamshed is very cordial. They arrange for day hikes around Pehelgam with guide. We certainly hope to come back here.
