The setting is very peaceful overlooking the lake. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They arranged our boating trip on Monroe Island as well as organising a takeaway meal for us in the evening. They also organised the tuk tuk to drive us to our next destination. It was one of the best stays we’ve had in India

EVERYTHING! The island is peaceful. The place is beautiful and well maintained. The room was neat and clean. Home cooked food was yummy. The owner is a very humble person and supportive.

Highlight of our journey so far! Vijeesh and his family welcomed us whole-heartedly to their beautiful homestay. Very nice rooms with comfortable beds and great food cooked by his sweet mother that we could enjoy together with all fellow travellers at the homestay, creating a genuinely friendly social vibe. A full range of activities are offered and hammocks for relaxation. We went out on both a sunset tour and sunrise tour on the canals. Both very special and beautiful experiences, where Vijeesh and his father gently guided on birds we saw and everything specific to living in the backwaters. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here. The family is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The arranged everything we needed (bikes, canoe-ride, taxis..) rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this place!

Property itsefl is very beautiful, very close to the beach. Rooms are nice and well equipped. There is very nice kitchen equipped in everything is needed (with washing machine) and living room. On the second floor you will find an amazing terrace with big table and hammocks. Breakfast is served everyday on the terrace, which are by the way delicious. Best thing of staying here is the greates host I ve ever met. Saajev is very kind, helpful and funny guy who can help you with anything you need, he can arrange the scooters and show you the neighbourhood. honestly we spent 4 nights here and had the best in India. I do really recommend to stay here, we will come back for sure.
