Totally Worth It!!! I recently stayed here for a day, the place has amazing views of Kanchenjunga to offer apart for cozy rooms which are neat and clean. Its a nicely maintained place and also has kitchen cum bar Cafe to hang around with friends. There are few pets like Kanchi ( grandma cat ) and Dora ( dog doesn't bite) you can play around, Have fun. The place is peaceful, calm and gives a village vibes like your in a remote place. One needs to walk or take private vehicle from pelling to visit this place but its worth the hustle. The host was very friendly and helpful, cooks tasty Momos/food from local homegrown veggies.

Staying at this homestay felt just like being with family. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their warm behavior truly made the experience special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape that added to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious—home-cooked, authentic, and easily some of the best I’ve had during my travels. On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Staying at Mandavys honestly was the greatest experience in my trips. Family ++++++++++ Food +++++++++++ Staff ++++++++++++ Accommodation/ size/ mattress / WiFi ++++++++++++ Location/ view to the Himalayas +++++++++++++ As you can see it was a +++++++++++++ experience meaning it was stunning I double highly recommend Bishiwar’s home stay He also organizes tours I will stay at his place when I will be around

I had the most wonderful stay at Yangdup Bhutia's family home, which is a beautiful mix of local art and extremely new facilities. For the evening meals I was offered different types of Sikkimese food, which were all delicious and filling. There is a large reception room for reading, yoga, television, and tea, and the bedroom is large with a lovely view of the hill. It's in walking distance of the monastery, the bird park and the ruins, and Yangdup could not have been more helpful in arranging transport for the lake, skywalk, and waterfalls, and a taxi back to Siliguri. Thanks also to Rinku for a great sightseeing day. All the family are so welcoming, and it was nice to be a little outside the main town. Quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful view of the valley. Thanks all.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

I am very lucky to get this property for staying......It's like haven......middle of the tea garden.....with a 3rd highest pick in world.... "kanchenjunga" ......clear view.......and aunty uncle is so much helpfully......food is so much delicious.......I think aunty has magic to prepare the food.......my mother's has knee operation......so auntie helps her to walk and see the view.......and they treat us like their family......Thank you aunty, uncle and booking.com for this property...and aunty areange a car with a best tourist fuide and druver, who is so knowledgeable for derjeeling tousist places and best view........

My stay at Roofscape was exceptional. I stayed with Anupam, Shuba and Binty over the Christmas period and they were so welcoming and invited me to celebrate Christmas with their family which was a truly memorable experience. The home cooked food was delicious, something I looked forward to every evening and the view from the home stay is beautiful. One of my best experiences travelling in India :)
