For me, it was all about the location. It felt like being Robinson Crusoe, right on the beach, with the waves crashing on the sandy shore—a true privilege. Stella, the host's mother, with her wholesome cooking, made me feel like a king in his beach residence. It was so humbling. I'm truly grateful to the hosts for this incredible experience. Thank you.

One of the friendliest places i ever been to! The owners are so welcoming and courteous. Especially for someone traveling alone I felt save and comfortable. The property and rooms are designed with love and thought and I personally loved the modernness. Linna, Jude and Anna, are my family from Thanki Palli. :) My stay was so lovely, from the first minute that this family welcomed me as part of it, always with such a genuine smile and energy. They took such good care of me, the food is delicious, they cook everything with so much love. The house is surrounded by nature, with an atmosphere of peace. The village and the community is so simple, genuine and so special, such a unique beauty, with the sea 15 minutes away. Working remotely in this very special place was so good, as soon as I arrived I had to start working, Linna and Jude, had many chairs at home, but they went on purpose to buy a chair that they thought was more comfortable for me to be able to work, what a loving gesture. They are such a beautiful family, I felt so much love, thank you so much for being home away from home. I felt home and part of the family. I love them! :)

It is a quiet, unique, and really pleasant destination. The host is truly friendly and helpful. We ask for some indications, a boat trip in Backwater canals and lakes, help to organize a trip to Thekkady in the mountains etc. All of it was easy and comfortable because of our host assistance. The local food served at breakfast and dinners was really tasty and safe. We have chosen it instead of the British like breakfasts and it was a good choice. Thanks a lot! The waters around are salt cause it is ocean backwater and because of that there were no moscitos, no flies, it was a nice surprise as well. It is far enough from town and main roads to be quiet and close enough to go to Kochin or a beach by scooter. The nearby Pallithode beach is empty, no tourists at all, just fishermen in a long distance... And boats, sand, and palms...

Amazing stay! Staff and manager were super friendly and always available. The location was absolutely stunning. The beach is super clean, and the water was just perfect. It gives you a feeling like you're on your own private beach. The spot is well maintained and clean. Rooms are spacious and has a very traditional decor, which i loved! 10/10 would recommend!🩵

Sweetest people. Mr. Sunil came early in the morning and waited for an hour to pick us up from Thalayolaparambu. He also helped us rent a bike during our stay. His entire family, especially his wife were warm and welcoming. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as it was THE best! Mrs. Sunil is an amazing cook! It was an amazing stay. We were at the homestay for 4 nights. Martin and the whole familiy were very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. As there were no cooking lessons nearby Martin and his wife showed us how to cook the traditional breakfast. You can reach the beach in one minute and Marari Beach is also only a 15 minutes walk away. We got filtered water (also water bottles availabe) and the wlan worked great. We would definitely come again as the value for money is great and it was the best homestay we stayed in India so far.
