A very nice welcome from the young man at reception, who advised us to visit the canyon nearby (which we didn't know about so was a nice surprise). The rooms are a little basic but were really clean and warm. We were able to dry out all our gear on the radiators. Dinner was quite nice though nothing standout.

Adventure Hotel Geirland is 3 km off the Route 1 Ring Road and 3 minutes’ drive from Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. All rooms offer tea/coffee facilities and views of the surrounding mountain ridge.

The place is itself beautiful with well equipped cabins. Very warm and comfortable during winter.

The accomodation was as described. The room was big and clean. We booked the room with shared bathrooms and these bathrooms where also kept clean.
