The self-service check in was very smooth and the instructions sent by the owner explained everything clearly. The room and facilities were clean and the atmosphere is very homey. The property is really beautiful - the decor is tasteful,warm and friendly. It has a hot tub and a cold plunge and a huge kitchen. There is a garden/conservatory linking the kitchen to the house which is simply wonderful filled with amazing plants with lots of seating. It is nothing like anywhere else we have stayed and stands out from the rest of the accommodation available in Iceland.

We booked at 16.45 due to red weather alert, the host let us in at 17.00 and it was all in perfect conditions. The check out was at 10am but she let us stay until 12am due to bad weather, she was very kind and lovely. And the welcome from the little dog was heartwarming and what we needed after the bad weather. Definitely recommended

Beautiful location. Very nice cabin. Amazing to have a jacuzzi directly next to your cabin. It was a very lovely place to stay. I would fully recommend staying here.
