Lorenzo and his mother made us feel like home and spoiled us with the most delicious food. Lorenzo helped book a wine tasting at a winery nearby and even gave us a ride there. He also showed us around in his garden where he grows olives, oranges, cactus fruit and much more. His mother is an amazing cook and prepared us a rich Italian 4-course dinner every night. We got some homemade limoncello (also peach version available) to go with the dessert. The breakfast table was like a dream come true, with both savoury and sweet items, such as prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, omelette, fluffy croissants, pistachio cake, fresh fruit and more. Even our baby got some homemade fruit purée. During the day, we visited the beautiful nearby towns of Ragusa and Scicli by car, but were happy to return to the high quality dinner table in the evening and have a chat with Lorenzo and his mother. They have a nice terrace outside where breakfast or dinner can be served, weather permitting. Our room was spotless and spacious and the bed very comfortable. All in all, their place is great value for money and can be recommended to anyone who enjoys homemade Italian food and hospitality in a quiet village surrounded by wineries and local food producers.

This apartment was beyond fantastic. Paola was so easy to contact and was so helpful for recommendations, helping me with my phone and organising me parking. The apartment itself was very tidy and clean and it was huge for the price. Full sized kitchen, bathroom and massive bedroom. Great location to the centre of town and only a 10minutes drive to many of the winery’s. 11/10 was amazing.

The room had been recently refurbished to a high standard in a modern style, with high-tech features and stylish lighting. It’s located on a quiet street, with free parking readily available nearby. The walk to Ragusa’s main square is also very pleasant.
