This was our first stop on a month-long trip around Japan, and I cannot put into words just how incredible the whole experience was. A beautiful private home, with a friendly host, in a lovely rural atmosphere. We enjoyed every aspect of the stay, from the traditional decor, to everything we learned about the region. Checkin and checkout were very smooth. Chris and Kumi are great hosts. Loved the food Chris prepared, would definitely suggest trying their cafe. Also, Kumi was kind to help keep our luggage on our checkout date for some additional time while we roamed the Matsumoto castle. She also helped with luggage forwarding services, which was a lifesaver. Definitely reccommend coming here.
