What a lovely place! It was so comfortable and the owners were super nice! The room looked new or freshly renovated, which added to the comfort. There's a bus stop a few minutes away. The town itself is quiet and peaceful, close to nature. I'm especially grateful to the owners, who welcomed us so warmly! Highly recommend!

I like our room, it was clean and nice with touch of traditional Japanese room and has a view of the garden and mountain. It is really relaxing trip for us in Hakone. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

The most beautiful Japanese room I've stayed in, on a stunning location and so cheap! Too bad Fuji wasn't showing, but it did not detract from the whole experience. The host was so friendly and helpfull, thank you for your tips!

Discovering Vegetarian House Jamoo is like stumbling upon a hidden oasis nestled in the tranquility of nature. From the moment you arrive, the warmth of the owners envelops you, as they pour their heart and soul into ensuring your experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Even when I took the wrong bus from Fuji station, a simple call to the hosts, resulted in them going the extra mile to pick me from a location nearly 30 minutes away. Their hospitality truly knows no bounds. In a region where it is hard to find vegetarian meals, it was a delight to have a four course vegetarian dinner all made from organic ingredients. The buckwheat galette served at breakfast was mouth watering and I wish i could replicate it in my own kitchen. If you're considering a stay here, make sure to include dinner and breakfast in your booking; trust me, you won't regret it. For those seeking a haven of relaxation and unparalleled hospitality, Vegetarian Jamoo is the place for you. I got the best views of Mt Fuji from lake Yamanakako.

Excellent location just next to the Open Air Museum. The public space is tastefully decorated, I had some good white wine in the bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving me advice where to go in Hakone.

Wonderful location, close to the busstop, lake, 7eleven, onsen with view of Mt. Fuji, the flower park. The owners are very helpful and friendly, the toilets and showers were very clean, kitchen was fully equipped and a cozy living area.
