Everything was perfect. The house is convenient, very clean and very well furnished. Also, there is a supermarket nearby where you can buy local products. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Great location and a very nice traditional Japanese home in the small town of Koza. The kind proprietor met us at the property. I recommend that you talk to the owner of the little tourist shop at the train station. He will rent you a bicycle and give you information about the area. Don't miss seeing Takinohai, which is a spectacular spot up river and easy to get to by local bus.

What a great stay! Traveling with 2 teenage boys, we have enjoyed our 2-night stay very much. The host was exceptionally nice and she even speaks a little english. The view from the living room is superb and it has been great to sleep to the sound of the waves, the wind and the ocean. We all 3 slept very well on the futons in the traditional tatami room. And then the breakfast ... mad with much love in "continental" / western style with truly tasty fruits (kiwi, oranges, apples)...

The owner clearly has an eye for details and an understanding of the sorts of creature comforts travelers appreciate: everything was cozy, beautiful and well-thought-out. The flower-theme was especially lovely! The whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. The onsen was bliss after a long day, and the room was cute and comfortable. Extra bonus points for a good luggage storage system!
