The host was super nice, always smiling and willing to help, recommended what to do and flexible! The room was very comfortable and if you're travelling alone he doesn't put more people in your room. The house was beautiful.

The absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!

This is a great place to stay in Kanazawa. The house is very central, and the Higashi Chaya district is only a few minutes away. The hosts are also very friendly and welcoming, and I had a great stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kanazawa!

I enjoyed my stay with the very friendly owners. Had a great meal and a nice evening together in the restaurant, meetings like this are part of what makes travelling great. Basic Japanese style room, but all perfectly clean. Great location and good value for money

The host was the nicest person I have met on our trip yet. Yoko was enthusiastic about hosting and she showed us how to use everything. There were even small labels to tell us what everything was. We left early in the morning but still received breakfast to eat on our travels. The beds were nice.

    This is a special experience. You get to experience the hospitality of a home stay in a 200 year old thatched roof house. The dinner and breakfast were perfect and our host was congenial and shared his musical instruments with us. The town is lovely....small enough for a one night stay.
