the room was really comfy and cozy with basic amenities provided for you. the owner of the guesthouse was really friendly and helpful during the stay. do mind that she has to run a small shop selling Japanese snacks while having other heavy responsibilities. do support her.

Beautiful old-style guesthouse right next to Hayatama Taisha. The location is absolutely amazing. Hayatama Taisha is literally steps away from the front door. There are river views from the room and the tatami floor rooms are beautiful.

Room was super comfortable, had a tiny kettle and a fridge which were very convenient if you wanted to keep food for the next day or boil water for your tea. Also I had to work remote and the wi-fi was strong enough.

I love this property. The interior is superior. I met the hosts as well and they were super kind. They saw that I'm studying so they brought me ice cream 😭 🩷 I would come back here for sure.

The temple and it's garden has very unique peaceful atmosphere. The people were very kind and we could get interesting information about Buddhism during the zazen and breakfast experience. I recommend this accommodation if you want a break from the rat race.
