We particularly love its antique Japanese taste. The inside bedroom and restrooms are super clean. The location is super good. Easy to travel within the village. You may feel the setting of the entrance passage looks like a movie setting. It will give you special memories years later when you look back now.

Super cosy, beautifully decorated and very snug for a winter visit in the snow. Amazingly hosted with a Christmas dinner, ideas for local trips and a great location for skiing!

It was a great way to enjoy skiing in Zao Onsen ! The pension is very close from the resort, owners can also drive you to the Ski lift. Very cozy guesthouse! The owners are super nice and help you with everything you need! Also there are free onsens very close by, a convenience store and many tasty restaurants. You can also use the kitchen in the guesthouse, so its super convenient!

I stayed in this cozy lodge for a night with my friend. I appreciate very pleasant stay at the accommodation. The hosts are quite helpful and proactively proposed any possible sightseeing locations around the place. We had wonderful dinner and breakfast.

Hospitality is incredible here. The facility is located up in the villiage, so it was quite difficult to get there by 2wd car in winter. But the owner provided us a parking below and drove us and other guests around the village wherever we needed to go: restaurants, onsen, ski rental shop, bus station etc. There is no shower in the facility, but we were provided onsen coupons so could use a free onsen nearby. Breakfast is simple but generous and packed neatly so we could eat it there or take out. Hosts take care of ski gear over night, so it’s clean and dry next morning. Rooms are warm with thick mattresses. The closest lift is in a few steps away, slope is also there, so can slide right to the entrance door. Overall, great for price, and hospitality is way above expectations!
