It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

A home from home with beautiful Japanese style bedrooms. it was our first time sleeping in a futon style bed, I was cynical about how comfortable it would be but it really was the best nights sleep! the kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts are so lovely ! They are happy to run you to and from the station in their car which is about a 30 minute walk from the accommodation .

The owner was lovely and welcoming! Good location just down the hill from the ski slopes. You can also buy ski passes which is handy!

The hospitality of the owner, very nice and kind, the place is amazingly clean, breakfast was great especially the japanese breakfast, the owner even give us raw rice which the husband plant himself as a souvenir before we check out. The location is right in the centre where everything is jus a walking distance. The room is big, toilet is clean, the bed super comfy.

Located just steps away from the main gondola station in Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Schanze Nozawa is cosy accommodation with Japanese-style rooms and friendly multi-lingual staff.

The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!
