Akbar and his family are fantastic hosts Very warm and with a fantastic sense of hospitality.. Akbar can speak some French and Asel his wife excellent German & English I was their really first guest since they decided to promote their beautiful house on Booking.com. Their house is also brand new with modern and comfortable facilities. They are located in the small village of Alcha Kaiyndy, 4 km south of the city centre of At Bashy where they came to pick me up (or they can also arrange a taxi) The house and my bedroom were facing directly some beautiful snow caped mountains and there was a small common balcony where you can chill and relax I found At Bashy to be a much better base than Naryn to explore the region as it is closer to Tash Rabat, to Shar waterfall (2 places where Akbar arranged transportation for me and even accompany me himself on some fantastic Hikes) as well as to Kel Suu lake for those who applied for a permitt (they can assist) Excellent home made breakfast and dinner Thank you so much Aki & Asel for such a warm welcome and lovely stay

I really enjoyed my stay at Kochmon Guest House. As a solo traveler, I ended up staying here because I got sick🤧 and the owners truly took care of me, which I appreciated so much. The location is great — easy access to a mini shop and pharmacy, which was super helpful for me. The guest house is very clean and cozy, with a lovely warm shower 🚿 that I really needed after my hike in Son-Kol. I also loved the design of the room, especially the traditional wall carpets, which the owner told me were passed down from their grandparents — a beautiful touch of Kyrgyz culture⛰️ On request, you can also get breakfast 🥞 which I did and really enjoyed. What made this place special for me was the family atmosphere. I’ve been traveling solo for six months, so it was lovely to feel at home 🏠 A big thanks to Syimyk, who helped me with translation at the pharmacy and made my stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this guest house — you really get more than you expect for the price. Truly appreciated my time here!🙏🏻

We had a super lovely stay in this guesthouse a little outside of the town center. The owner takes great care of her guests' well-being. Everything was wonderfully clean and we had full use of the large kitchen. It was perfectly equipped and we didn't miss a thing. There is a secure parking space for your car in the courtyard. But the best thing about this accommodation is really the personal touch of the owner. I would stay here again anytime. p.s.: Breakfast was delicious

Great rooms, beds were comfortable, very tidy, and bathrooms were clean, shower had hot water and good pressure. The family were incredibly nice and helpful for anything we needed. The property was in a good location, not far from the Main Street near some popular coffee shops.
