Anou is very friendly and she helped us with everything, what we needed like airport transfer, trips, tuk tuk driver and more. Delicious breakfast a possibility to orded dinner. Not far from city center and by bike which you can rent for free, you are in center in few minutes. Definitely recommend.

Very helpful host. Renting a scooter or a bicycle from the host is very easy and convenient. The breakfast and supper were lovely and always with vegetarian options. Free drinking water and access to hot coffee are other benefits. A/C, water, electricity all working fine. A book swap is there and connection with family and pets. Rickshaw to town is ca 2$, so if you want to go to pub street, all is easy.

This place is just wonderful!! The staff is so lovely making your stay superb! They helped with everything, always with a big smile:) and kept on giving me water and that was just lovely!! The breakfast is simple but delicious with some fruits, coffee, eggs and bread..perfect to start the day. The room is spacious, and it has everything you need. The AC was also a big help with the heat! The place isn’t so far from the centre and it felt really safe to walk to it (being a solo traveller that’s also a good plus) I really recommend this place!

This was an amazing rural experience 20 minutes outside of Siem Reap town! We got live the life of Meta (the host) for a couple days, which was truly insightful into authentic Cambodian life. Meta was a great host, and took us to his rice farm to catch frogs, snake and crabs to feast on (for free!) He also took us the local silk and crocodile farm. The homestay is tucked away amongst rice fields and has a little shop next door for beer etc. Thank you Meta for a wonderful time! :)

We had a wonderful time at Metas Homestay. Meta and his family and friends are great hosts and showed us the real Cambodian lifestyle. We learned so much about the country and had this great opportunity to look behind the touristic phasade of the country and get insights in rice harvest, Cambodian family life and Cambodian daily life routines.

The hostel is located in a silent surrounding and very close to Angkor Wat. Downtown Siem Reap can also be reached with a short bicycle ride. Renting a bicycle at the homestay was simple and easy. In the homestay you can get very good and affordable fried rice, noddles and beverges. The room was very big with two levels. But only upper level had AirCon in my room. As I was solo travel this was not an issue. The host family is very kind and friendly. For the price this place is potentially unbeatable.
