The best homestay we've had during our 1 month SEA trip. Exceptional hospitality! If you're looking for a authentic immersion of real Cambodia, don't hesitate to visit Mr. Bun. His family is so lovely, warm and we were treated like a family. He and his daughters even picked us up at the bus station. The 7pm dinner with the other guests is wonderful and the highlight of the trip. We bonded with his daughters and even picked up mangoes right at their backyard. We hated to say goodbye :(

Felt like home in another country . We like it that it isn’t on a busy street but close enough to have a slow walk to the town / old market about 10 - 15 minutes . The owner, Mr Trevor has been helpful from the beginning even before we arrived . Close to supermarkets and Tuk Tuk can be found just outside the property , if you don’t prefer to walk . To town , it’s about 1-2 USD depends on how many people taking the Tuk Tuk . For Muslims, you can get Halal food on Steung Thmey St. About 20 minutes walk , but if you don’t prefer to walk, take the Tuk Tuk. The mosque is also on the same street. This property has basic amenities and it’s enough for our group . We always prefer a homely stay like this . thank you Trevor for being a great host during our stay .

I stayed at Angkor Gecko’s Inn during my trip to Siem Reap and really enjoyed it. The place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the location on Sok San Road makes it easy to explore the town. Close to food, shops, and everything you need. My room was clean, comfortable, had good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were wonderful; friendly and always ready to help. Angkor Gecko’s is a comfortable inn, with nice touches like a cosy bar, pool and fussball tables. Overall, great value and a place I’d happily return to.

The owner, his family, and staff were all so so lovely and welcoming, we got a tour on arrival thoroughly explaining the facilities and details of the villa. Lots of places to relax outside on the balcony, very comfortable beds, lots of storage in the room, shower was very nice with different settings to choose from. The centre was about a 30minute walk away but there is the option to rent a bike. Filtered water was accessible 24/7 and laundry was available to do yourself at any time included in the price. Lots of curtains ensured privacy but with the choice to have lots of natural light if you wished. Overall for the price this was an amazing stay and I would 100% recommend

A nice place away from the crowds of tourists. Be sure to order a bicycle rental option to explore around Siem Reap. The house is very nice , cover all our needs , beautiful couple , they made sure we feeling home and helping us with everything we need. House it's clean and well maintained breakfast was delicious and every day was something different was 2 days in the row covered us for the rest of the day. This was an amazing rural experience 20 minutes outside of Siem Reap town! We got live the life of Meta (the host) for a couple days, which was truly insightful into authentic Cambodian life. Meta was a great host, and took us to his rice farm to catch frogs, snake and crabs to feast on (for free!) He also took us the local silk and crocodile farm. The homestay is tucked away amongst rice fields and has a little shop next door for beer etc. Thank you Meta for a wonderful time! :)

We had a wonderful time at Metas Homestay. Meta and his family and friends are great hosts and showed us the real Cambodian lifestyle. We learned so much about the country and had this great opportunity to look behind the touristic phasade of the country and get insights in rice harvest, Cambodian family life and Cambodian daily life routines.

The hostel is located in a silent surrounding and very close to Angkor Wat. Downtown Siem Reap can also be reached with a short bicycle ride. Renting a bicycle at the homestay was simple and easy. In the homestay you can get very good and affordable fried rice, noddles and beverges. The room was very big with two levels. But only upper level had AirCon in my room. As I was solo travel this was not an issue. The host family is very kind and friendly. For the price this place is potentially unbeatable.
